During my mother’s battle with dementia, food became our greatest tool. As her needs evolved, I leaned on the wisdom of herbs, whole foods, and functional spices to support her health through nourishment—when words and memory were slipping away, meals became our connection.

But behind the scenes of those meals stood a man whose quiet resilience held us together: my father, Kenny “Ken-Do” Bond. He was her caretaker, my anchor, and the reason this brand exists.


Honoring a Father’s Legacy

“Ken-Do” was more than a nickname—it reflected my father’s spirit. Whatever needed doing, he did. With grace. With humility. With love. Ken-Do Spice was named in his honor, because he believed in doing what you could with what you had—even when it was hard.
